Amazon has officially revealed the Prime Gaming free games lineup for July 2025, and while the list might seem a little light at first glance, there’s a good reason for it. Like last month, July comes packed with Prime Day lead-up freebies, and it’s very likely we’ll see surprise drops during the actual Prime Day event, which runs July 8–11.
And that’s not even counting the massive collection of free titles available to Prime members on Amazon Luna this month including Death Stranding Director’s Cut, World War Z, and Hollow Knight, all streamable at no extra cost. So, while the base Prime Gaming list may not look overwhelming, there’s clearly more going on than meets the eye.
Prime Gaming Free Games July 2025
For this month, 7 games are part of Prime Gaming’s standard monthly lineup. But in addition to that, 6 more games remain claimable until July 7th under the Prime Day lead-up promos. So even though the current schedule may look thin, it’s likely just the beginning.
In fact, if you look closely at the release schedule below, you’ll find that there’s no new game listed for July 10. Right smack in the middle of the Prime Day window. That opens the door to a very real possibility of a major surprise drop for subscribers. Of course, it’s still speculation at this point but the timing sure makes it look likely.
Adding to the unusual nature of this month, the first two July games, Boxes: Lost Fragments and Paquerette Down the Bunburrows, were made available yesterday, July 1 which is two days earlier than the usual Thursday drops. That means the next scheduled batch won’t hit until July 17, leaving a big gap in the middle, again hinting at something special coming on Prime Day. We could be riding on high hopes here but no harm in that.
For now, here’s the full lineup of July’s Prime Gaming free games, so far:

Amazon Luna Free Games May 2025
Being an Amazon Prime member not only gets you Prime Gaming but also access to a rotating set of titles in Amazon Luna. You do not have to have a separate Luna+ membership to stream these games. Important to note though that this service is only available for Prime subscribers in the USA, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
