Xbox Game Pass Surprise Addition For July Is Another Day-One Launch

Xbox Game Pass lands another day-one launch this month. Descenders Next is not out on early access/game preview.

Well no one saw that coming. Descenders Next, sequel to the highly-rated Descenders game, was initially supposed to launch on April 9. A few weeks before the date, the game was indefinitely pushed back and fans were unsure of whether they’ll see the game ever. Let’s face it, the industry hasn’t been the most stable recently, so those sentiments weren’t without credit. But now, it’s here! And like previously promised, day-one on Xbox Game Pass.

Descenders Next Is Now Out On Early Access And Xbox Game Pass

July is a pretty good month for sports gamers. Not only did we have Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 on the 11th, but also Descenders Next just 10 days after. While it’s not a full release, the game is now out on Steam, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass. It was such a big surprise as considering how packed the month is with day-one launches, you wouldn’t think there’ll be one more.

After the delay, No More Robots actually teased fans with a Descenders Day on July 21st. It was supposed to be the reveal of the next big update for the first game and when Next is launching. Little did everyone know, it was actually the launch date of the latter. As for the update, today was also the launch of Race Mode.

Start hitting the mountains now. Descenders Next is available to play for free with an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions. You can also enjoy a 10% discount on Descenders Next early access on Steam until August 3rd.

While the game is announced for Playstation as well, there is no launch date for that yet.
