inZOI Free ‘Island Getaway’ DLC Releases On August 20, Takes Players To Southeast Asia
inZOI’s Island Getaway DLC launches Aug 20 with two islands, fresh activities, tropical skins, and a Mac version debut.
We may be well into summer but that doesn’t mean we can’t have one more island getaway. And inZOI is going to help us realize that last summer excursion with its upcoming DLC, arriving on August 20.
inZOI Open Beta Scheduled for August
The Island Getaway expansion is the game’s first major DLC since its early access release. It will launch on August 20, alongside the game’s Mac version.
As previously revealed, it will feature a sizable new map called Cahaya that consists of two islands. The main island is where players can experience new activities like fishing, farming, and mining. While the other is a resort island where players can relax and enjoy snorkeling. There are also tropical-themed skins to customize Zois.
While we are given a sneak peak to Cahaya already, Krafton will release its full official trailer on Gamescom during the Opening Night Live on August 19. The Island Getaway DLC will also be playable at the Krafton booth in the event.
Gamers do not have to wait that long though to get more details on this DLC. There will be an inZOI@Cahaya community livestream on August 14 at 6PM PT. The stream will showcase never-before-seen content, developer commentary, and the team answering some community questions. This will go live on inZOI’s official Youtube and Twitch channels.
