Konami has given a loose release window for Fox Hunt, the multiplayer mode coming to Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. In its latest update, Konami says it will launch this Fall, a little later than the game, which releases for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 28, 2025.

MGS Delta’s Steam page explains that Fox Hunt is set in the same world as the main campaign, making “use of stealth and survival elements to deliver exciting hide-and-seek-style back-and-forth gameplay.”

This cat-and-mouse format will combine the tactical stealth action typical of the Metal Gear franchise with its deep survival elements, creating a unique experience for both dedicated MGS fans and newcomers to the series.

Konami has confirmed that the new multiplayer mode, Fox Hunt, will launch “Fall 2025.” In its post on X, the company says the mode will offer “exciting hide-and-seek style gameplay based around central elements of camouflage and survival.”

Fox Hunt will be a free mode for Metal Gear Solid Delta when it launches a few months after the game’s release at the end of August.
