Disciples: Domination – What We Know So Far

An announcement that therefore confirms Domination as a direct sequel to Liberation. And it will arrive about 5 years after the launch of the latter, this time entrusted to the Artefacts Studio team. Taking us back to 15 years after Avyanna’s peaceful reign, which is now crumbling under the sovereign’s feet. It will offer:

  • A Dark Story: Follow a story centered around Avyanna. A tale of power, war, and sacrifice. Your choices will lead to different outcomes, either ruin or a new salvation for Nevendaar and its people.
  • Improved Combat: An improved, more dynamic turn-based combat with new interactions. It won’t lack new skills, faction abilities, and unit synergies for an even deeper strategic touch. With various companions to choose from to fit your playstyle.
  • The Return of the Dwarves and New Threats: Among the new features will be the return of the Dwarves of the Mountain Clans. As a powerful ally, as well as a fearsome adversary. But also new threats in the form of the return of an ancient cult, the comeback of enemy forces, and a corrupt prophet.

A direct sequel to Liberation that seems to continue using the same formula, one of the points most criticized by fans. However, it’s entrusted to a team more active in the strategy RPG genre. Although many would like to see it entrusted to a more experienced team. As well as a return to the formula perfected in Disciples II.

In Conclusion

So, Domination seems to continue the new strategic RPG formula of the Disciples series. With a direct sequel to Liberation set 15 years after the events of that chapter, directly following Queen Avyanna and the crisis she will face. The title is scheduled for release in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with further details yet to be revealed. So, what would you like to see in Disciples: Domination?
