Xbox Is Reportedly Ready to Launch ROG Ally Handheld in October
According to a leaker, the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X could launch this October, while pre-orders could open on August 20 at the start of Gamescom 2025.
In a report by billbil-kun for Dealabs, ASUS, the manufacturer, is preparing for an October 16 release date in Europe for both handheld consoles.
Microsoft and ASUS announced their partnership in June, with ASUS confirming a launch this “holiday” in the UK, US, and select countries.
What We Know About the ROG Xbox Ally So Far
The ROG Xbox Ally is confirmed to feature an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD storage. The more powerful ROG Xbox Ally X will include an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.
Though Xbox and ASUS have not yet confirmed pricing, Billbil-kun has previously stated the ROG Xbox Ally would cost around €599, while the ROG Xbox Ally X will cost €899. Billbil-kun also claims pre-orders will begin on August 20 at the opening of Gamescom 2025.
