Upcoming action RPG Hell is Us is getting a new playable demo next week. This demo will launch for PlayStation, Xbox Series, and PC. Developer Rogue Factor and publisher Nacon are coming together to release the violent action-adventure game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 4, 2025.
The upcoming demo may be the last chance for fans to try the new third-person RPG before its release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 4, 2025.
A previous demo in June was only available on PC due to what developer Rogue Factor called “technical constraints.” This upcoming demo will be the first opportunity for console players to experience Hell is US.
What Is Hell is Us?
Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure game that blends fast-paced, intense melee combat with semi-open world exploration. Set amid a civil war, a mysterious calamity has unleashed supernatural and terrifying creatures on the world, forcing players on an unforgettable and violent path to unravel the mysteries of what caused the creatures to appear.
Rogue Factor is promising “a unique exploration system” that features no map, compass, or quest markers. Relying solely upon instincts, players discover locations and secrets through determination and willpower.
What’s Included in the Demo?
Rogue Factor and Nacon have not revealed what the upcoming demo, which releases on August 12, will feature. The demo back in June let players experience the beginning of the game, introducing them to the core systems and combat, while allowing them to explore a little of the world.
The demo next week is likely to be the same, albeit with a few adjustments, after Rogue Factor announced on X that it would run at 4K at 60 FPS on consoles. It could be the same demo as in June, but now extended to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
