Full List of Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass for August 2025
Here’s the first wave of games leaving Xbox Game Pass for August 2025. An initial list of 6 games have been confirmed for the first half.
It looks like Microsoft found a breather month in August. Xbox Game Pass has been on a roll since the start of the year. Some have said, it cannot simply sustain the level of momentum it has throughout the year. While August still has some great titles to give subscribers, it’s definitely on the thinner side. Same goes with the games leaving, which on this side, isn’t bad at all.
Games Leaving Game Pass August 2025
In a week’s time, three games are set to leave Xbox Game Pass. While Farming Simulator 25 made its way to the service, its older version, Farming Simulator 22, will be exiting. Anthem is also part of the list which is an EA Play title so this only applies to Ultimate and PC tiers. The game is also scheduled to sunset January 12, 2026.
The lineup may only have three titles but it includes the classic JRPG remake, Persona 3 Reload, which is a massive loss. If you haven’t gotten around to playing it, it will be tough to finish since it roughly needs 120 hours. But hey, there’s no better motivation than playing games for free while you can.
Here is the list of the three games set to depart Xbox Game Pass on August 15, 2024.
- Anthem (Console and PC)
- Farming Simulator 22 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Persona 3 Reload (Cloud, Console, and PC)
All of these games are currently available at 20% off for Game Pass members until they officially leave the service on August 15th. It’s a great opportunity to purchase any favorites you want to keep, or finally grab that game you’ve been meaning to try before it disappears from the library.
